Q. How does the HealthFair mobile unit increase participation?
A. Most screening companies offer testing in a conference room or cafeteria setting with limited privacy. Our mobile units offer private and secure exam rooms that help participants feel comfortable, resulting in increased participation.
Q. Can the HealthFair health screenings be performed indoors?
A.Yes, there are several markets in which HealthFair offers van units, which can utilize indoor space to setup and perform the health testing on participants. However, we are able to achieve higher participation rates utilizing the mobile units.
Q. Who interprets all the health screening results?
A. All advanced test results are reviewed by our team of board certified physicians.
Q. How do employees receive their results?
A. In an easy to understand “Health Report Card.”
Basic biometric results are provided immediately following the health screening. Advanced screening results are mailed to the participant’s home in 2-3 weeks after being reviewed by a board certified physician.
Q. What type of health testing results does the employer receive?
A. Employers receive a comprehensive aggregate report summing up the findings of the health screenings, areas for improvement and potential ROI. No identifying information is included to ensure participant confidentiality.
Q. How is employee privacy ensured?
A. As a Joint Commission accredited entity, we follow all HIPAA regulations. All participant results are completely confidential; employers do not see the individual employee results.
Q. What if an employee is recommended for the advanced health screenings?
A. At the time of the basic biometric screening, if three or more risk indicators are found, the employee will be given information on advanced biometric screenings. Advanced biometric screenings can be performed immediately following their basic biometric health screening.
Q. What if an employee is found to have a severely abnormal screening result?
A. If a screening participant is found to have a critical abnormality (i.e. they are at immediate medical risk), they will be notified immediately. Our highly qualified staff will consult with one of our board certified physicians and instruct them on how to proceed.
Q. Should all employees receive Advanced Biometric screenings?
A. Advanced Biometric screenings are typically suggested for individuals who have multiple risk factors for cardiovascular disease. However, they can be provided to all employees if preferred.

Q. How are “high risk” participants identified?
A. HealthFair identifies “high risk” participants through Basic Biometric screening results. If a participant has three or more risk factors for metabolic syndrome, they are considered to be at “high risk”. The American Heart Association and other medical authorities recognize the strong link between metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease.

A. Basic Biometric screenings take as little as 15 minutes. Advanced screenings take 30-45 minutes. Appointments are scheduled in advance to minimize the amount of time an employee is away from work.

A. HealthFair will provide you with all the health screening marketing materials needed to promote our health testing to your staff. You will be provided with flyers, posters, letters and email blasts to help make your health assessment event a success.
Q. How is health screening sign-up handled?
A. Participants have several options for scheduling an appointment. The easiest ways are to visit HealthFair online or call our toll-free call center to schedule their health screening appointment. Organizations also have the option of an on-site coordinator, provided by your organization, to schedule the appointments and correspond with HealthFair. An email confirmation will be sent to them with health testing instructions.
Q. Can you integrate your health screenings with other corporate wellness programs?
A. Yes, HealthFair’s health screening program is easy to integrate with other corporate wellness program initiatives. With proper consent, individual health screening results can be shared with disease management and health providers.
