6 screenings – $179 (valued at $2,350)
- Hardening of the Arteries Test (ASI)
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Ultrasound
- Electrocardiogram (EKG)
- Stroke / Carotid Artery Ultrasound
- Peripheral Arterial Disease Test (PAD)
This ultrasound test is considered to be one of the best and most accurate non-invasive heart disease screenings to obtain information about heart disease prevention, including the size and strength of contractions, valve function and fluids around the heart.
Hardening of the Arteries Test (ASI)
This test measures the hardening of the arteries, which are responsible for moving the majority of blood through the vascular tree. Hardened arteries cause the heart to work much harder because it is forced to pump blood through partially occluded vessels.
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Ultrasound
This ultrasound test is used to visualize the presence of an aneurysm, or an abnormal swelling or dilation of a blood vessel. The danger lies in the risk of the aneurysm bursting or rupturing.
This test provides a picture of the electrical activity responsible for the heart’s cycle of contractions and relaxations. It provides doctors with information such as heartbeat irregularity and heart enlargement.
Stroke / Carotid Artery Ultrasound
This ultrasound test of the carotid arteries is used to detect the possibility of a stroke. The amount of plaque in these arteries is a good prognostic indicator of stroke. This is an intricate yet pain free way of analyzing blood flow.
Peripheral Arterial Disease Test (PAD)
This test identifies the presence of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). Individuals with high ABI are three to five times at greater risk of heart attacks.
